Frequently Asked Questions

What form of payment do you accept?
Checks, Visa, MasterCard, money orders and vouchers are accepted.

Can you provide customized on site training?
Yes, we have provided many courses on site for numerous municipalities. Call for more specifics.

Are your courses approved by the Division of Local Government Services?
We always advertise our courses as “applied to DLGS for credits….” We do this so we can begin advertising, and prospective students can plan their schedules We haven’t had any problems with course approvals in the past, but we would never presume approval of any course. If for some reason a proposed course was not approved by DLGS, we would cancel the course and return any payment received. We have been in business since 2001 and to date , this has never happened.

What is your cancellation policy?
Because we must contract with instructors, caterers and meeting halls, we must have 48 hours written notice to issue a refund.

How often do you schedule classes?
During the course of the year we schedule up to 75 courses a year, mostly from September through May. Most are held either on Thursday or Friday, and are usually 1/2 day sessions. We try to schedule most classes at least 3 times, in a north, south and central location in NJ.

Is Lunch included?
Yes it is. We get many compliments on the food, and we hope you stay for lunch.

I am interested in teaching for AM/PM. What should I do?
We are always interested in speaking with potential new instructors. We require a copy of your resume, and a 1 to 2 page outline of you potential course. We pay a competitive rate to our instructors.
